تغییرات آب و هوا در هفته آینده به تازگی از سوی پیشبینیکنندگان هواشناسی عنوان شده است. According to forecasts, in the upcoming week, a relative increase in temperature is expected in various parts of the country, particularly in the northern half, which will continue until Wednesday and then we will witness a moderation of this trend from Thursday onwards.
According to the head of the Meteorological Organization’s National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management, Sadegh Ziaian, the rise in temperature will not break the previous heat records, and for example, Tehran, which had experienced a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius in the previous heatwave, will experience a maximum temperature of 37 to 38 degrees Celsius this time.
Ziaian also rejected the issuance of a warning for seasonal rains in the southeastern part of the country and said: “Such a warning has not been issued.”
He added that strong winds will continue until the end of the week in some parts of the country, and the necessary warnings have been issued in this regard. He noted that strong winds will be felt in Tehran, especially in the afternoon hours, which may be accompanied by dust storms.
In recent years, the frequency and intensity of heatwaves have increased in Iran, and this trend is expected to continue in the coming weeks. The reasons for this trend are complex and multifaceted, but it is worth noting that climate change is a major contributing factor.
In this context, it is essential to pay attention to the warnings issued by the Meteorological Organization and to take necessary precautions to protect oneself and others from the heat. This includes staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day, and using air conditioning or other cooling methods to keep oneself cool.
It is also essential to note that the impact of heatwaves is not limited to human health, but also has significant economic and social consequences. The agricultural sector, in particular, is vulnerable to heatwaves, which can lead to crop damage and loss of income for farmers.
In light of this, it is crucial to implement strategies to mitigate the effects of heatwaves, such as increasing irrigation and using drought-resistant crops. Furthermore, it is essential to invest in infrastructure, such as cooling centers and public transportation, to help vulnerable populations cope with the heat.
The Iranian government has taken some steps to address the issue of heatwaves, including the implementation of a national heatwave prevention plan. However, more needs to be done to address the root causes of this trend and to develop effective strategies to mitigate its effects.
Ultimately, it is up to each individual to take responsibility for their own safety and well-being during heatwaves. By staying informed, taking necessary precautions, and advocating for policies that address the root causes of this trend, we can work together to reduce the impact of heatwaves and create a safer and more resilient society.
