بخش دارورسانی با سهم ۴۰درصدی، بیشترین سهم را در بین فناوری‌های نانو دارد و شامل حامل‌های لیپیدی (۱۲ درصد) و کنژوگه (۲۸ درصد) است. این آمار نشان‌دهنده رشد بالای فناوری‌های هدفمند دارورسانی است. از مهم‌ترین مزایای فناوری نانو در دارورسانی هدفمند، افزایش اثربخشی داروها و کاهش عوارض جانبی آن‌ها است. با استفاده از نانوحامل‌ها، داروها می‌توانند به طور مستقیم به بافت هدف برسند و از تأثیر منفی بر سلول‌های سالم جلوگیری کنند. این ویژگی به‌ویژه در درمان سرطان و بیماری‌های مزمن اهمیت زیادی دارد.

در این میان، نانوآمیزه‌های غیرپلیمری با سهم ۱۸درصدی در تولید تجهیزات و وسایل پزشکی مقاوم به خوردگی و افزایش استحکام، کاربرد دارند. نانوپوشش‌ها (PVD) نیز با سهم ۱۴ درصدی نقش مهمی در بهبود مقاومت سطحی ابزارها و تجهیزات پزشکی ایفا می‌کند. نانوکلوئید که در داروسازی و بهبود عملکرد داروها مؤثر هستند ۱۳درصد سهم دارند. الکتروریسی که کاربرد اصلیشان در تولید مواد زیست‌سازگار برای کاربردهای پزشکی و مهندسی بافت است سهم ۹درصدی دارند. باندهای آنتی‌باکتریال، فیلترها و زخم‌پوش‌ها از جمله محصولاتی هستند که با استفاده از الکتروریسی تولید می‌شوند و در نهایت، کیت‌های تشخیص سهم ۲درصدی و سایر فناوری‌ها با سهم ۴درصدی در حال توسعه و ورود به بازار هستند.

بازار نانو در حوزه سلامت و بهداشت ایران در حال رشد است و سهم قابل‌توجهی را در صنایع مرتبط به خود اختصاص داده است. تمرکز اصلی این بازار بر پیشگیری و درمان است و فناوری‌هایی مانند دارورسانی نانویی، نانوپوشش‌ها و نانوکلوئیدها بیشترین سهم را در آن دارند. در عین حال، چالش‌هایی مانند وابستگی به واردات تجهیزات، کمبود سرمایه‌گذاری در تحقیق و توسعه و عدم آگاهی عمومی در این حوزه وجود دارد. با این حال، فرصت‌های مناسبی برای رشد این بازار از جمله افزایش حمایت‌های دولتی، توسعه بازارهای صادراتی و بهبود زیرساخت‌های تحقیقاتی وجود دارد. با اتخاذ راهبردهای مناسب، ایران می‌تواند جایگاه خود را در این حوزه تقویت کرده و از ظرفیت‌های فناوری نانو در سلامت و بهداشت به بهترین نحو بهره‌برداری کند.
